We are looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer to work on multiple projects for our clients. We are a digital agency located in Toronto Canada and work with small and large enterprise organizations across many sectors. We are looking for inspired and experienced people to help complement an existing technical team to contribute to our projects. Remote is okay but Canada / USA is preferred.
Description
We’re looking for a full stack developer with 3+ years of full stack web development experience, ideally with Laravel. Experience working remotely within a team environment; not only with other developers, but designers and project managers, as well. Places equal importance on both form and function when writing code. Detail-oriented with a solid understanding of quality UX. Can communicate effectively to find optimal solutions to problems.
Skills and Requirements
- At least 3 years experience or an impressive body of work that can be previewed (i.e. github profile)
- Experience with Laravel & Vue.js
- Strong Javascript, PHP, HTML, CSS and skills
- Familiarity with MySQL and database design basics
- Experience using version control software in a team environment
Nice to haves
- Modern front end development tooling (Webpack, NPM/Yarn, node.js)
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- WordPress, custom theme and plugin development
- Experience shipping Progressive Web Applications
- ES6 and JS frameworks like Vue.js or React
- Open Source projects or contributions
